Bible Quiz Question #10

When is it OK to change time, seasons and festivals?
a) When the church says it is OK?
b) As long as you intend it to be “Christian” it is OK?
c) Both a & b?
d) Never!
Answer: d.

What is sad about this is that the Christian church has deliberately separated from the Jewish roots of the truth taught by Y’shua. The birth of the Messiah has been turned into an orgy celebrating the birthday of the ancient pig hunter, Tammuz on December 25th. The Messiah’s passion to die for us on Passover has been turned into another sexual deviancy where rabbits lay eggs and you eat ham in honor of the boar that killed Tammuz.

But everybody is doing it, you might say. That excuse didn’t work for you when you were getting a ticket for speeding. It doesn’t work when your kids try it on you.

Are you going to tell me that the two highest Christian holiday’s where the church hopes to draw in more converts based on the display of gross heathenism are OK and that God is pleased? Then let me remind you that the great circus promoter PT Barnum was correct when he said there’s a sucker born every minute.

I would like to point out at this time that the word church is derived from the same root word that circus is derived from.

So why are these highly paid false prophets told in seminary the true history of these heathen festivals and then warned to keep the tradition going or else suffer a failed church? Why are you following these compromising, heathen festival loving, paid false prophet church leaders? Is a man’s opinion more important than God’s truth?

Thus saith יְהֹוָה[i], Yehovah, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. (Jeremiah 10:2-5 KJV)

Be not afraid of them as in fear them as you would fear God. Obviously, they were the objects of creation worship.

And the Messiah says that we are to be grafted into the same root of the Olive tree which represents the Hebrew root! Christmas and Easter celebrating gentiles? BS as in Bovine Scatology!

For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; (Romans 11:16-17 KJV)

That’s our future. To be grafted into Israel and not the other way around with the church absorbing Israel.

Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: For if יְהֹוָה[ii], Yehovah spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. (Romans 11:19-21 KJV)

Why would God cut off our branches?

Behold therefore the goodness and severity of יְהֹוָה: Yehovah on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. (Romans 11:22 KJV)

Whether you like it or not, Christmas and Easter will not survive the coming of the Messiah. You may ask yourself, aren’t we saved once and for all and get all the blessings no matter how many times we break the law? Horse Radish![iii] You too can be cut off.

I picked on just two heathen practices of the church. There are many more. You have the power to make a decision and stand up with Messiah, His written word and bear fruit for Him. Better hurry because here comes the husbandman with his pruning shears! It’s gonna hurt!

[i] The Hebrew name of God, יְהֹוָה translates as YeHoVaH or Yehovah. Although banned by orthodox Jews and the Pope it can be found in several places intact with vowel pointing in the Leningrad codex and the Aleppo codex. Strong’s concordance has it accurately translated to English in reference number H3068.

[ii] In the Textus Receptus, the word God is translated from the word Theos in the Greek. In the Septuagint, Theos is used to translate the Hebrew .יְהֹוָה Yehovah and אֱלֹהִים Elohiym. Both were translated into Greek as Theos. While it is difficult to translate languages and keep the exact same meaning, it should also be understood that at the time of the translation of the Septuagint, the Rabbi’s were banning the speaking of the name of God. There must not have been too great of a need to let Alexander the Great and the Greek’s have access to the powerful and set apart name of the one who parted the Red Sea. So instead of a one to one translation of the name, they used a title.

[iii] Creates something that is described as like Bovine Scatology if you eat too much of it.

A friend of mine who claimed that he worked at Area Fifty One in Nevada back in the 70’s explained to me that the material used in nukes deteriorates and after a specified time limit, that weapon is past pull date, unreliable and unusable. I remember that length of time as being about 10 years. He didn’t believe that we were keeping the missile stockpile in tip top shape and that the threat of nuke use was a phantom political ploy up to today.

From an article authored by Conn Hallinan reviewing a book written by  former Secretary of Defense, William Perry, which you can read here:, I have taken some notes that refute the notion put forth by my friend on a subject that is understandably misunderstood by the citizens of the USA “because it is unthinkable”.

  1. Nuke war risks today are higher than they were during the cold war.
  2. The USA has a very provocative foreign policy towards Russia that includes the use of nukes.
  3. NATO in their publications contend that nukes are only a war deterrent and do not state any policy of use. Dangerous ambiguity.
  4. A signaling mistake could lead to a nuke launch on either side. This has happened several times over the years with blind luck preventing a catastrophe.
    1. In 1962, during the Cuban missile crisis, a Russian submarine officer refused a command to launch a nuke on a USA warship.
    2. In 1979, the USA detected a false attack signal due to a bad electronic chip.
    3. In 1980, NORAD computers falsely detected a Russian missile launch due to the use of an incorrect test tape.
  5. A confrontation has become more dangerous because of the actions of the last 3 presidential administrations.
  6. Bill Clinton abrogated a treaty restraining NATO from recruiting eastern bloc nations.
  7. The NATO pledge to not install military bases near Russia was breached and the USA deployed 4 battalions on the Russian border in 1997.
  8. The USA built Camp Bond Steel which is the largest NATO base in the Balkans.
  9. George W. Bush withdrew the USA from the ABM treaty.
  10. Barrack Hussein Obama has deployed anti-missile systems in Romania, Poland, Japan and South Korea, while spending 1 trillion to upgrade our arsenal including development of smaller yield nukes. These smaller nukes are ready if not already used in some conflicts in the Ukraine.
  11. Under Obama, the USA refuses to reinstate an ABM treaty and Russia is not disarming.
  12. Anti-missile systems supposedly aimed at Iran’s non-existent nukes are really aimed at defending USA forces from a Russian launch.
  13. Meanwhile, in 2014, the USA supported the Ukraine rebellion from Russia
  14. USA and Russian war “games” now take place on the Russian border.
  15. USA and Russia are developing long range cruise missiles. These can be armed with nuke warheads.
  16. Most importantly, Russia has abandoned their “No first use of nukes” policy due to being over-matched conventionally by the US military.
  17. We, the USA citizen, sit naked while the only defense Russia has against our military is to fire away at the USA population.

Bible Quiz Question #9

What does God hate?

  1. Divorce
  2. Nicolaitans
  3. a & b.
  4. c and certain people who alter God’s Word.
 Answer: d.

Let’s go right to scripture.

“For אֱלֹהִים יְהֹוָה, yehôvâh ‘ĕlôhı̂ym[i] of Israel says That He hates divorce, For it covers one’s garment with violence,” Says יְהֹוָה Yehovah of hosts. Therefore take heed to your spirit, That you do not deal treacherously.” (Malachi 2:16 NKJV)

Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. (Revelation 2:15 NKJV)

You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of יְהֹוָה your אֱלֹהִים Elohiym which I command you. (Deuteronomy 4:2 NKJV)

“Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it. (Deuteronomy 12:32 NKJV)

Every word of אֱלוֹהַּ[ii] Elohahh is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar. (Proverbs 30:5-6 NKJV)

For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, אֱלֹהִים[iii]will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; (Revelation 22:18 NKJV)

YeHoVaH has laid it out well in the Bible. However, let’s drill down to what constitutes a Nicolaitan? Do you remember when the “stage mom” of John and James asked Y’shua if her sons could be seated next to the Messiah in Heaven? I’ll tell you, the ink hit the fan that day. Here is Y’shua’s response.

“You do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?” They said to Him, “We are able.” So He said to them, “You will indeed drink My cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with; but to sit on My right hand and on My left is not Mine to give, but it is for those for whom it is prepared by My Father.” And when the ten heard it, they were greatly displeased with the two brothers. But Jesus called them to Himself and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave– just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” (Matthew 20:22-28 NKJV)

This passage depicts the doctrine of the Nicolaitans. Nico = ruling. Laitans = The Laity or common folk. “Leadership”, in other words. John and James along with Mom tried to get a free pass to exalted leadership.

The Messiah nipped it in the bud with John and James but this doctrine that took root in the church by the time Revelation was written hasn’t left. It’s still stinking up the place. Christian bookstores are crammed to the ceiling with books on Church “leadership”. It’s not about serving, it’s about church leadership to produce church growth as if the church is responsible for its growth.

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising אֱלֹהִים[iv], and having favour with all the people. And יְהֹוָה[v] added to the church daily such as should be saved. (Acts 2:46-47 KJV).

The temple that is mentioned here is the Hebrew or Jewish Temple. The public square, so to speak. The First believers, who were Jewish, did not abandon their Jewish places of worship and build churches and seek isolation. Thank God, my tongue is firmly planted in my cheek, that we have Nicolaitan’s today to build all these great walled buildings for us to isolate ourselves in.

Bible Quiz Question #8

This is a very exciting day in yours and my life. According to God’s Calendar it is?

Answer: The date in reference is May 1st, 2016 or by יְהֹוָה God’s calendar[i], Aviv 22, 6016. It is the Day of First Fruits[ii]. Although it is the supposed day that the Messiah arose from the grave on this Sunday morning in actuality He said 3 days and nights. If you don’t know how to count like most of the church, you’ll say He was crucified on “good” Friday and three days and three nights later he arose on Sunday. 1+1+1=2?

Of course, school children can do the math correctly. And if you back count from First Fruits, you can easily find the year that the Messiah was born[iii]. Don’t forget that you have to use the description of the day that was in effect and how the gospel writers understood the day and night at that time.

A full day begins with sunset and ends at sunset.

The Son of Man was laid in the grave at sunset on Wednesday to begin Thursday.

Thursday sunset adds up to day one.

Day 2 starts at sunset on Thursday and runs into Friday.

Day 3 starts at sunset on Friday and runs into sunset on Saturday.

This fulfills the Messiah’s prophecy:

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from You.” But He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a greater than Jonah is here. (Matthew 12:38-41 NKJV)

Doing the math has always been a problem for the church because they really want to celebrate pagan holidays like Dagon the fish god whose day of worship is Friday. Let me ask, “Do you know why the Catholics eat fish on Fridays and their leadership wears hats that look like the mouth of a fish?

Y’shua, who as the High Priest, was out of the grave before sunset on Saturday but in isolation readying to perform the presentation of First Fruits before the father. For the Jewish High Priest, who was also in isolation per the commands of יהוה Yehovah, it was food or barley loaves. For the Messiah, it was resurrected saints. (I have food that you know not of[iv]…) These saints had been reported to be seen walking around Jerusalem at His crucifixion.

Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; (Matthew 27:51-52 NKJV)

When Mary tried to hug Him on Sunday morning, He pulled away and said, “Touch me not…[v]” because he had not ascended to the Father. He was still in isolation. He had not yet waved the offering of First fruits before the Father. The resurrected saints that He took to heaven with Him[vi].

Isn’t that GREAT! A down payment on our resurrection to eternal life!

At the same time, the Jewish High Priest went into isolation after Passover to prepare to offer the First Fruits of the barley harvest on that Sunday morning before the altar.

This is one more example of the many God ordained festivals which are types that foreshadow the good things to come. Prophecies in the feasts. Another fulfillment of יְהֹוָה Yehovah’s plan. Another thing the church has blinded itself to by being Greek centric.

The Messiah is communicating to us through His chosen people, the Jews up to and through our present time. He is doing this in the many feasts He asked the Jews to observe throughout the years. And the church, holds its nose and remains stuck in a Greek fixation. It is stripped of God’s messages to us, through the Jews. It is the work of Ha Satan. It is the deception that would snare even the elect[vii].

Jesus may be his English name derived from the Greek translation Iesous but his mama called Him Y’shua. Just another example of how the church is so out of touch with the real Jewish Messiah in the time that He came to speak to us, the first century.

7 weeks and one day later is the Feast of Shavuot, or the wheat harvest First Fruits or the Day of Pentecost[viii]. This year, it is on June 12th according to יְהֹוָה’s Yehovah’s Calendar[ix].

[i] Rood, Michael, “The Astronomically and Agriculturally Corrected Biblical Hebrew Calendar”, In 6016 there was an Adar Bet. An additional month added to reconcile the late barley harvest.

[ii] Bunn, T. Davis, Bunn writes an interesting survey of the festivals of יְהֹוָה Yehovah that were designed for our pleasure and not for His pleasure.

[iii] The correct year requires that a Wednesday Crucifixion and a Saturday afternoon resurrection line up according to יְהֹוָה’s calendar.

[iv] John 4:32

[v] John 20:7.

[vi] according to Michael Rood, are the 24 elders; ibid.

[vii] Pagan festivals such as Halloween, Christmas, Lent, Easter and their world-wide adoption contrary to the word of יְהֹוָה Yehovah speaks to a common and strong deception. Remember that the church going back to the first century has always promoted that the end times were right around the corner.

[viii] Also it is the day claimed to be the day that the Israeli’s received the Torah law from יְהֹוָה Yehovah at Mount Sinai, and the day that Israel, the nation, was reborn in 1948.

Bible Quiz Question #7

Today is the Sabbath but it also happens to be a High Sabbath on יְהֹוָה’s calendar. What is today called?

Answer: The date in reference is April 30th, 2016 or by יְהֹוָה’s calendar, Aviv 21, 6016[i]. This is 7 days past this year’s Passover. The answer is: The last day of the Feast of Matzah otherwise known as the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

It starts with a high Shabbat in which no work is allowed and ends 7 days later with another high Shabbat. Many simply call it the Passover but the actual Passover sacrifice occurs on the afternoon of the 14th of Aviv and the feast went from the 15th to the 21st of Aviv. Don’t forget that יְהֹוָה’s day is from sunset to sunset.

According to Bible chronology, the Last Supper was on the Passover but at the beginning of the 14th day “at even” or after sunset[ii].

I’m going to borrow from “Believer’s Bible Commentary” by William MacDonald[iii].

“The Feast of Unleavened Bread occurred in connection with the Passover. It extended over a period of seven days, beginning with the day after Passover—i.e., from the fifteenth day of Nisan[iv] to the twenty-first. The names of these two feasts are often used interchangeably. During this time the Jews were required to put away all leaven from their households. In Scripture, leaven speaks of sin. The feast pictures a life from which the leaven of malice and wickedness has been put away, and a life which is characterized by “the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth” (1Co_5:8). There was no lapse between the Passover (our redemption) and the Feast of Unleavened Bread (our obligation to walk in holiness) . . . Even today the Jews eat unleavened bread during this feast. The bread is called matzo. The preparation of matzo involves piercing the bread, and in the baking process it becomes striped. This unleavened bread clearly reminds us of the sinless Messiah. He was pierced for us, and by His stripes we are healed.”

I need to point out that the month of Nisan is an innovation by the Rabbi’s. The Bible calls the first month of the New Year Aviv[v] and the post Babylonian Rabbi’s[vi] moved the New Year into fall contrary to יְהֹוָה’s word. You were probably worried that it was only the church that thought it was necessary to overrule יְהֹוָה and change His word.

If you eat your Passover meal after sunset on the beginning of the 15th day which is the tradition, you eat matzah. If you are celebrating the Last Supper which occurred just after sunset on the beginning of the 14th day, you eat normal puffed up yeasty bread.

Since the church is confused and possibly parsimonious, it routinely serves matzah in the communion. If you are honoring the Last Supper in your communion, the bread that should be served is regular yeasty bread. A little more work for the janitor and the vacuum cleaner but we can’t let the dogs take care of it like they did back in the day.

[i]The Astronomically and Agriculturally Corrected Biblical Hebrew Calendar” Rood, Michael.; A restoration of the Calendar from the Tanach.

[ii] It was common in Messiah’s day and even unto today for the 14th of Aviv, the day of Passover, to be incorporated into the Feast of Matzah which runs from the 15th to the 21st. This is not according to Moses and accordingly would not be according to Y’shua. The day 14 Passover WAS a day of preparation for the Passover Seder that was eaten on day 15. Part of the preparation was the slaying of the Passover lamb. The Last Supper was not a Passover Seder.

[iv] Takanot: Rabbinical innovation. According to Encyclopedia Judaica, Takanot are “rules enacted by the Pharisees which change or negate Biblical Law.”

[v] Sometimes written as Abib.

[vi] Jewish Rabbi’s are a well known and respected group today representing Jewish thought and Theology but they derive their authority from the Oral Law, collected and written down in the Mishnah and Talmud. The Oral Law is a greater authority than the written Bible according to them. They have several branches with the most prominent branch being the Pharisees. The Pharisees were the most vicious enemies of Y’shua because He called them on their pretense of representing the Almighty and his word. They had a good gig but they were being busted by the Son of man, God Himself! Today’s Orthodox Jew is one and the same Pharisee who celebrate their Holy Mishnah and Talmud and down play the Commandments of God and the Torah of Moses. The Pharisees and the Catholics share at least one thing in common. The use of murder against their enemies as a way to uplift their bloody thrones. OK, let’s throw the Lutherans to the wolves, Martin Luther ordered the murder of the Anabaptists over the question of sprinkle baptism vs. immersion baptism.

Bible Quiz Question #6

How many years was the ministry of the Messiah? Support your answer with as many names of the church fathers that support your view.

If you said three and one half years and Eusebius[i],[ii], you would be wrong but correct in the sense that he promoted the idea and that it has been widely repeated as true over the centuries. In fact, Eusebius, who was the apologist of Constantine[iii], came up with this number of years in trying to reconcile Messiah’s ministry to Daniel chapter 9 vs. 27[iv]. But he missed the mark.

The time of Eusebius in the 4th century is far removed from the Messiah’s 1st century ministry. By then it was an acceptable practice in the Alexandrian school of Theology to use allegory, or simply put, to just make it up[v].

Other so called church fathers said Messiah’s public ministry was about a year. They are, Clement of Alexandria[vi], Origen[vii],[viii], Julius Africanus[ix], Philatrius[x], Hilarion[xi] and Tertullian[xii] among others basing their view on Isaiah 61:2:

To proclaim the year of יְהֹוָה‘s[xiii] good pleasure, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; (Isaiah 61:2 JPS)

Two events are mentioned here. The Messiah’s ministry or יְהֹוָה YeHoVaH’s “good pleasure” and the second coming right after the day of יְהֹוָה YeHoVaH’s wrath. And in the words of the Messiah Himself in Luke 4:19:

Please notice that the Messiah stopped reading before He got to “the day of vengeance…” indicating a partial fulfillment of YeHoVaH’s pleasure at that time and a second fulfillment or coming of Wrath. Two separate days, in other words.

The Passover lamb was a symbol of the Lamb of God, our Messiah’s sacrifice:

Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year; ye shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats; (Exodus 12:5 JPS)

 Again, 1 year.

If you calculate the time between His baptism by John the Baptist to the Day of Pentecost or a/k/a the Feast of Shavuot where the Spirit was given as promised, His ministry is exactly 70 weeks[xiv] fulfilling Gabriel’s prophecy to Daniel in Daniel 9 in a sub context and in a different way than what was understood and taught by Eusebius. These church fathers already had created the doctrine of Amillennialism meaning that Y’shua’s second coming had already taken place in a secret coming into the believer’s heart.

A controversy over whether the Apostle John actually wrote John 6:4 where a third Passover that the Messiah attended has been refuted by Bible Chronologist, Michael Rood. This is either an error or an insertion into the original text[xv] and it has made it difficult to restore chronology to the Gospels until now. Textual differences are not uncommon in the Greek fragments.

The correct answer is 70 weeks.

Bible Quiz Question #5

According to the way that יְהֹוָה’s[i] calendar works, what major nation was born on the feast of Shavuot?

Answer: First, let’s determine what the feast of Shavuot is. I’m going to borrow from two of my eSword commentaries.

The Feast of Weeks (cf. Num_28:26; Deu_16:10) was known in New Testament times as the day of Pentecost (Act_2:1; Gr. pentēkostē, “50th,” from which comes the Eng. “Pentecost”) because it was celebrated seven weeks plus 1 day (50 days) after the wave offering of the barley sheaf during the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Lev_23:15-16).[ii]

The waving offering of the barley sheaf happens on the feast of First Fruits.

The Feast of Weeks (Heb., Shãvûôt) or Pentecost (Gk. for “fifty”) was held fifty days . . . after the Passover Sabbath. It was a harvest festival thanking God for the beginning of the wheat harvest. The firstfruits of the wheat harvest were presented at this time, along with a burnt offering, a new grain offering, drink offerings, and a peace offering. According to Jewish tradition, Moses received the law on this day of the year. The Feast is typical of the descent of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost, when the church was brought into existence.[iii]

There has been some controversy on when First Fruits occurs but it is always on the first day of the week.[iv] This Feast of Shavuot occurs 50 days later. 7 weeks and 1 day from the Feast[v] of First Fruits. Shavuot is also known in Greek as Pentecost.

Please note that Passover is not a Sabbath although it can occur on a Sabbath in some years.[vi], [vii], [viii]

In our last quiz question I explained a little bit about the different calendars. I told you of the importance of יְהֹוָה‘s Yehovah’s calendar. I told you that very few have paid any attention to יְהֹוָה‘s calendar since Ha Satan through the Roman empire in the third century forced the disbanding of the Jewish council, the Sanhedrin, that kept it.

It turns out that if you project יְהֹוָה‘s calendar back to May 1948, the nation of Israel was reborn on the Feast of Shavuot![ix] So the answer is the rebirth of Israel occurred on Feast of Weeks, Shavuot or Pentecost. However you prefer to refer to it.

Nobody was paying attention to יְהֹוָה‘s calendar at the time and only a select few are today. What else are Israel and the Gentiles missing by not honoring time the way that יְהֹוָה has organized time?

My favorite part of our recent trip to Israel was visiting the home[x] in Tel Aviv where the famous Israeli independence declaration was made by Ben Gurion. יְהֹוָה was most certainly in the announcement as it fulfilled a major Prophecy[xi] on a Feast day and caused millions around the world to wake up to what Yehovah is doing in our time.

I don’t mean to be down on the poor uninformed people of the Orthodox and the confused who follow the Catholic Gregorian calendar or the Roman Julian calendar or the Hillel II Hebrew approximation calendar. The thief comes to steal, lie, cheat, obfuscate and destroy our knowledge of God’s word and His timing of fulfillment of His word.

There’s a blessing when we honor God’s Calendar according to His way. When are we going to wake up to realize that our trained Christian leaders, who are being true to their anti-Semitic seminary theology, have accordingly led us astray from the timing of יְהֹוָה’s fulfillment of prophecy through His calendar?

O יְהֹוָה,[xii] my strength and my fortress, My refuge in the day of affliction, The Gentiles shall come to You From the ends of the earth and say,  “Surely our fathers have inherited lies, Worthlessness and unprofitable things.” (Jeremiah 16:19 NKJV)

[i] The Hebrew name of God. Its English form is Yehovah as found in Strong’s concordance. I like to write it as YeHoVaH according to the translation of the Hebrew characters Yod Hey Vav Hey. Hebrew characters also have word pictures associated with them and in this case they are Yod = hand, Hey = behold, Vav = nail. “Behold the hand! Behold the nail!” After the Babylonian exile and after having lived in a country with many God’s and supporting factions, the Jews adopted a practice of not mentioning YeHoVaH’s name. The pagan’s taught that revealing their God’s name to their enemies would lead their enemies to invoke the power of their God’s name to defeat them. Do you think YeHoVaH would favor our enemies? To this day, Orthodox Jews who read Hebrew skip over the letters yod hey vav hey and transliterate it to the word Adonai or Ha Shem – the name. Pope Benedict the 16th banned the use of God’s name in a recent Papal Bull before he was sent packing. I’m hoping you are picking up a clue here. A very good book on the history of the banning and restoration of God’s name, יְהֹוָה, Yehovah can be found in “His Hallowed Name Revealed again”, by Keith E. Johnson, 2nd edition published by Biblical Foundations Academy in 2011.

[iv] I should mention that the church has its own unique calendar in regards to Easter. It was deliberately designed to keep Easter and Passover away from each other. This is Anti-Semitism, my friends. Not only is the celebration of egg laying bunny rabbits a pagan practice, your pastors are taught to distort the most important day of history, the Passover by both pagan symbolism and day of occurrence. Somehow the church thinks it has the authority reserved for the anti-Christ to change times and seasons. It may be that they do.

[v] The words Biblical feast sounds like such a drudge of a responsibility. So, a party of 250,000 men, your closest friends, on the Temple mount with a menu of barbecue over a wood fire and other delights served by your priests with the women entertaining the children and all basking in a God ordained activity? You have got to be kidding. What a thrill. I hear the wine was good, too!

[vi] This year, Passover was on a Saturday Shabbat, the 14th of Aviv corresponding with April 23rd, 2016. The High Shabbat of the Feast of Matzah was on the next day, Sunday, Aviv 15. The last High Shabbat of the Feast of Matzah was on Saturday, Aviv 21 and the Feast of First Fruits was on Sunday, Aviv 22.

[vii] Let’s compare the 2016 Passover to the 0028 or the Jewish year 4028 Passover when the Messiah gave His life for us. The last supper was at Sunset on Tuesday, Aviv 14, the beginning of Passover day. He was in the grave by the end of Passover nearly 24 hours later at Sunset. The Feast of Matzah commences with a Sabbath on Wednesday night-Thursday, Aviv 15. Messiah’s 3 days and three nights is over before Sunset on Saturday, Aviv 17. At Sunset on Saturday is the day of First Fruits on Aviv 18. By the middle of the day (sunrise), Messiah has presented the first fruits of salvation and waved these saints before the altar. Wave here should be considered bowing in deep humility before the Throne by these grateful saints. The Feast of Matzah concludes Wednesday at sunset, Aviv 21 with another High Sabbath.

[viii] Because the Passover rolled into the Feast of Matzah or Unleavened Bread, they are treated as one feast today. However, please note that Passover is on the 14th of Aviv and the beginning of the week long Feast of Matzah begins on the 15th of Aviv. With the next day beginning at sunset as is the normal Hebrew custom of days.

[ix] This is according to Michael Rood who has recreated God’s calendar and applied it retroactively to May 1948. More can be found at including how to obtain a copy of his calendar, “The Astronomically and Agriculturally corrected Biblical Hebrew Calendar.
